Schools
To take care of children from very poor environments, we have rebuilt 20 schools, most of them rural, which were very damaged or completely destroyed.
We use strong materials and keep the local style, providing furniture, toilets, solar panels for electricity, books and school material.
Once the schools repaired and equipped, we focus upon the poorest children, mainly those attending from nomad mountain areas who stay half or full board at school. For them we have built and equipped kitchens at the schools, with greenhouses and live stock, we distribute lunch and provide scholar bus.
We also offer winter clothes and medical attention.

Construction of toilets
Most schools did not have toilets or they were in very bad conditions. New toilets are built to improve the hygiene conditions of the places. Some examples are shown in the photos below.

Construction of furniture
At many schools, children studied on the floor as there was no furniture. In others, the furniture was scarce and damaged. Desks, seats and shelves have been made new.

Construction of kitchens and lunch distribution
Many children walk 6 - 10 kms daily to attend school. Their lunch consists in roasted barley flour that they bring from home and butter tea provided by the school , an insufficient menu for their physical efforts. We have built kitchens at the schools and provide daily lunchs consisting in rice or pasta with meat, vegetables and a dessert.
